BIO-STATEMENT

MUZAMMIL JUSOH is an Associate Professor and Research Fellow at the Advanced Computing Engineering (AdvComp) Centre of Excellence, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). He began his career as an RF and Microwave Engineer at Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), where he led the Specialized Network Services (SNS) team in Senai, Johor, and managed preventive and corrective maintenance of ILS, NDB, DVOR, microwave links, VHF/UHF systems and repeaters. He earned his B.Eng. in Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering (2006) and M.Sc. in Electronic Telecommunication Engineering (2010) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and completed his Ph.D. in Communication Engineering in 2013. With an H-Index of 27 (Scopus), he has secured over USD600k in research funding from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, industry grants and MOSTI, serving as principal and co-researcher. He currently supervises more than 20 postgraduate students and has authored over 250 peer-reviewed articles in venues such as IEEE Access, MDPI Sensors, Materials and IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters. His research interest in antenna design, reconfigurable beam-steering arrays, RFID, MIMO, UWB and wireless communication systems. He also provides technical consultancy to firms including MNF Infra and G2R Sdn Bhd and has served as an executive member of the IEEE Malaysia AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter since 2023. He received Professional Engineer in September 2020, Professional Technologist (October 2020) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer in Feb 2022.
